Product Details

A flexible alternative, the SCF Shipping Container workshop provides a safe, isolated location to complete a range of works. This site shed has ample storage for tools and equipment. Lockable cages can be installed to protect tools from quick hands, or secure dangerous items that should only be used by qualified trades.

All workshop containers are lockable to protect items out of hours.

They have been built with a strong focus on safety to satisfy all the necessary OH&S requirements. Give your trades or yourself a recognised space to safely complete their work that won’t impact others onsite.

Our construction range thrives in harsh environments. Built from steel (including steel doors) with high quality fittings, our units are designed to last so your team can complete your work or you can tinker away.

How is this container delivered?

Workshops are compact, meaning they won’t take up too much space on your site. Any cleared, level part of the site will fit a 20ft Container Workshop. How you access the container will depend on our method of delivery, but the following methods suit these units.

SCF Shipping Containers - Delivery Method - Tilt Tray

Tilt Tray

Tilt tray delivers a container off the back of the truck. Similar to a tow truck, the tray is mechanically lowered at an angle, and the container is slid off, with the truck moving forward at slow speed. This is the most common delivery method used for containers. Tilt trays are not suitable for sites with overhead power lines as the container height increases significantly when tilted.

SCF Shipping Containers - Delivery Method - Side Loader

Side Loader

Side loaders are used to transport our 20 foot and 40 foot shipping containers. This is the best delivery method for containers at sites that have limited space either in front or behind the area where the container is to be positioned. The container is unloaded between the two outrigger feet of the side loader, approximately half a metre from the side of the truck.

SCF Shipping Containers - Delivery Method - Hiab Crane

Hiab Crane

Hiab cranes lift containers from a mechanism located behind the truck's cabin. This is used when there is limited space for a side loader or tilt tray. Using a crane means the container is easily positioned at an angle or up on a raised area. It can also be used to place containers over a fence or other obstacles.
